Challenge update

Challenge - Week 3

I like the stars but they're quite annoying. The factors maintain sticking out and the extra they hook on, the more they fold outwards. 

even though this is my second nail cropping in the assignment, this isn't always week 2. final week I got way too busy with school after which I had an extended weekend with the boyfriend, who strongly dislikes polished nails. So I determined to offer him a wreck from the girliness and stored my nails easy.

Old swatches

a lot amusing! i discovered this piece of plexiglass that I used for swatching when i used to be younger. Boy, my stash has grown. ALOT.

I used to put the plexiglass in the front of my nail and then 'paint' my nail over the plastic. that's why a few swatches are larger than others, due to the fact my nail changed into longer at the time.

i'm glad i'm no longer swatching like this anymore... the metal polishes did not flip out exceptional this way.

Challenge - Week 1

My first week of the assignment did not move so properly... First, I painted my nails a bright magenta. It turned into a bit bottle of polish from Etos, I got it from my mom. Then, I reduce some hearts out of decal paper to make little sticky hearts. I stuck those to my nails, then used a sponge to use some Sally Hansen Stiletto red (beautiful crimson with flickers).

After removing the paper hearts, this is what the result was. I did not use a pinnacle coat because I sometimes just like the bumpy experience of sponged manicures :-p



it's difficult to see the hearts within the image. Hmmm it's difficult to peer the hearts in actual lifestyles, too.

I should've used a shade with more comparison to the magenta, I recognise that now. I plan on doing this nail trimming once more however with a specific colour palette.

Challenge

Nail polish collection May 2012

So, I designed a case to maintain all of my nail polishes so i will take them anywhere and now have an outline of all of the polishes I personal. Sinful Enchanted coll. 2012 - 4 picks

In a swap with my desirable friend Lydia I got those four polishes of eight from the Sinful Enchanted coll. 2012, the colors missing right here are: Rain hurricane, inside the Mist, Smokin and Jungle path.
they are all proven in two coats and without a top coat.

First we have Last Chance - a very dark forest green cream

The base color is Smooch Viola, a gorgeous red-toned dark purple with a lovely shimmer. I sponged the tips with Kiko # 234 Sparkle Touch Lustrous Pink and then I painted vines and flowers as a floral French.

Poinsettias on Poinsettia

 

 

 

I prefer the poinsettia in red, but this year a friend gave me a white poinsettia. So first I placed on two coats of China Glaze Poinsettia, after which I brought a coat of Darling Diva I’m Your Huckleberry to add more impact. I painted the white poinsettias with acrylic craft color, however I’m not simply happy about the internal set of petals of the flowers, oh properly, from a distance it looked adequate. New Year - Artsy Wednesday

 

 

 

This weeks theme in Artsy Wednesday is New Year.
I painted my nails with  coats of Essie midnight Cami and highlighted a place with Chick Raven's Egg by way of sponging it on. With acrylic craft colorations I painted the fireworks, and to enhance the impact I finished with inm Northern lighting fixtures Hologram top coat in Gold.
