Oh no, my lunula is missing!

have you never heard of a lunula? Neither had I, but thank heaven for the net. with out it, i would be downright dumb.

The lunula is the whiter, half moon form at the lowest of your nail, right against your cuticle. most people's lunula's are seen, however I mine are not. it really is ordinary, Wikipedia instructed me. it's simply that my lunula is hidden below the cuticle and pores and skin. well, I think it is exceptional! i'm happy with my nails like this, I can not imagine me having a seen lunula. k, i've said lunula waaaaay to in many instances now!

there's that phrase once more :-p And the white a part of the nail, the tip, is called the free margin or distal aspect. there are such a lot of cool words to learn! Oh oops, i'm sorry, the geek internal me is peeking out :-p
