Challenge - Week 5

to begin with: wow! I can not believe it is been 5 weeks already! I concept i'd experience confined in my preference of polishes however the colours pass really properly collectively. This time, I made a kind of seaweed-like layout (or flames, some thing you want to peer in them). I had some faculty stuff to wrap up, a number of which was formal, so I did not need my nails to be too flashy. okay, they're red, maybe a little bit flashy, however i am nonetheless me :D I simply can't help however be colorful!

I coated up all my equipment and polishes and settled in for a good movie with the high-quality parents ever. on the sofa. With them filling my glass with water. And now not complaining about the polish scent. Like I said, pleasant parents ever! (click on at the photos for a better view)

Using flash
After making use of a base coat, I painted my nails a quite crimson from a bottle of Paris recollections. The coloration is somewhere among the flash and the no-flash image. the usage of a tiny brush (I just use one i purchased at a crafts keep), I drew some lines from my cuticles up to about 2/three of my nail. I used Luminelle Mauve Captivant by way of Yves Rocher. some wiggly strains are shorter and that i attempted to make them go in front of eachother like seaweed does. For the extra wow-impact, I sponged some red glitter from Essence Season of Extremes we're All bright onto the base of the seaweed. The glitter reminds me of sand flying up from the lowest of the sea.

The design is a chunk tough to peer. With natural mild on it and whilst wiggling my hands a bit, you could clearly see the 'seaweed' lights up and it is so quite! i like my free hand nail art better than the stickers or (inside the future) stamping. I can not draw to keep my lifestyles, however it involves my nails i like to consider myself as an artist.

what's your selected nail artwork technique?
