Are You Afraid of the Dark? - Spooky Eyes Nail Art

there's still time to squeeze in some more Halloween nail art seems! This look is paying homage to my simple Spooky Eyes layout from 2011, however with a bit extra complexity introduced and some twists. now not to mention, pretty an upgrade in nice! this is additionally serving as my access into the JINsoon Halloween nail art contest.

I started via painting my nails black. For the attention nails, I painted the attention shapes in numerous sunglasses of red, orange, and yellow, after which added the black slits afterwards.

For the candle nails, I used the bubble method for the glow at the candle, and then freehanded the rest. The gradient on the candle turned into created by blending varying ratios of cream and black. I finished with a layer of brief dry topcoat and then a layer of matte topcoat.

I should admit - although unintended, this layout does take me back to the fact quite a piece of the old Nickelodeon show Are You scared of the darkish?. I think it's the single flame in the darkness, although inside the show commencing it is a fit. That show continually scared the bejesus out of me. i've wonderful recollections of being afraid of the one where the children attempt to use the silver spoon to beat back a spirit, but come to discover it is in reality metallic so the spirit keeps drawing close.
