it is animal print day of the 31 Day assignment! that is usually certainly one of my favourite days. I do a whole lot of animal print in my everyday nail artwork, so i really like to take the project as an opportunity to get inspired through some unusual animals. This yr, i have long past with a freehand stylized goldfish scale print, inspired through Queen Otohime from the one Piece anime. Does every body else watch?

without giving an excessive amount of about the story away, Otohime wears a kimono with this stylized fish scale print on it. I tried to directly mimic the way it appears inside the anime, and that i suppose I did a nice task! I painted my nails with the crimson-orange first, then added the yellow detailing, and sooner or later completed it off with the black lines.
i am pretty enamored with this pattern. It surely looks as if fish scales, though I can also see phoenix feathers or dragon scales. Very ambitious and cool.
