Marbled Blue Swimming Pool Stripes

Marbled swimming pool stripes by @chalkboardnails

i love stripes. I do them quite a bit, frequently freehand (a woman's gotta practice), but present day 31 Day undertaking nail art required using nail vinyls. I mixed them with the saran wrap marble method for a blocked, marbled look that jogs my memory of a swimming pool. Steph Stone did a swimming pool nail artwork tutorial recently that used the equal method for the aquatic impact. allow's dive in!

Nail polishes used:
LVX Cashmere
JINSoon Cool Blue
directly nail vinyls

I painted my nails with  coats of Cashmere and introduced a layer of short dry topcoat to hurry up the drying technique. as soon as the base became dry, I applied each Nail Vinyls logo directly vinyls and KBShimmer straight vinyls with random spacing. The motive I used two specific brands became they every had exclusive sizes I desired to apply -- the smallest stripes are from Nail Vinyls while the medium and big blocks are from KBShimmer.

I painted one thicker coat of Cool Blue over the top, and then dabbed wadded up pieces of saran wrap over the wet, freshly painted polish. This removed some of the blue and left it with a cool tie-dye marble impact! The best factor left to do turned into eliminate the vinyls and end with topcoat.
