One difficult aspect about the 31 Day venture, for me, is that even when you have extenuating occasions (like, say, you nod off looking Monday night time football), you still have to get day after today's manicure finished. when I woke up at the couch at 1:30am this morning and realized I had geometric nail artwork to do, it was pretty hard to tug my ass over to my nail desk. however I DID IT! because it's how I roll.
Nail polishes used:
Misa Dusty Magnolia (nude)
LVX Orchid (pink)
Misa Loveliest of Lilacs (purple)
JINSoon Cool Blue (blue)
The approach for this nail artwork is pretty simple to break down. I painted my nails nude, after which started out including geometric facets with a small nail art brush and pink polish. about a third of the manner down the nail, I started out doing the facets with purple. two thirds of the manner down, I did the sides in blue.
The closing step was to combination the gradient. I created custom blends of red/crimson and pink/blue, and painted them within the areas in which the colours met. It appears quite seamless, especially at arm's period.
This year, I've changed the "tribal print" prompt to geometric in an effort to be more culturally sensitive. Here are the manicures I've done in the past:
- Peach and yellow patterned
- Stenciled hand cave paintings
- Navajo blanket weaving
